His parents were Christina BOWEN (1791 - 1864) & James BAXTER (1787 - 1854) Twice married, 1st, Saphrona SNIVELY (1835 - 1856), 2nd , Mary A. PEARSON of Dereham Twp. (1843 - 1884).
