Please send us Burial Information where no memorial exists.

We would now like to supplement these transcriptions by adding an appendix of names and dates of persons buried without markers, or whose markers are no longer there.

We are asking genealogists to submit this information, with the name of the cemetery, and some documentation to prove the people are actually buried there. The documentation can consist of personal information (i.e. if you remember being at the funeral or an older person in your family remembers); newspaper obituary; death registration, funeral home record, etc.

You do not need to provide a copy of the documentation, just tell us your source.

This applies also to persons buried in a plot where there is a stone but the person's name is not on the stone. Please send your information to the Elgin OGS Web Publisher.
