This cemetery, the family burial ground of James Fleming, the first settler in Elgin County in 1796, is located at the back of the farm, in the flats, near the River Thames and cannot be seen from the road.  Located on the Fleming Line at the front of the farm is a plaque, erected to honour the Flemings.  The property in 1981 was owned by Ted Johnston.

Transcribed in 1981 by Marjorie Gillies & Jean Gillies Zimmer for the West Elgin Genealogical & Historical Society.
