Cemetery Transcriptions - The Elgin County O.G.S. has transcribed all the inscriptions on all known gravestones in Elgin county with the help of interested people from the area. Updating these records is an ongoing project of the branch. These records are indexed, printed and on deposit at the O.G.S. library in North York, the National Archives of Canada and the Archives of Ontario plus copies have been purchased by other institutions. A copy of all cemetery transcriptions is available for use at the George Thorman Room at St. Thomas Public Library in St. Thomas, Ontario.
